		<description>A brief additional note -- if you want to see some interesting differences in foveal VS extrafoveal/peripheral vision, try this:

1. Fixate on the lights directly above my head in the image. Hold your gaze and note the motion. 

2. Proceed to fixate on either the logo of this blog or the address bar of your browser. Note that your peripheral vision yields a different motion percept (left/right blinking, and slower than when you&#039;re foveating the motion). 

As far as vision people can tell, it&#039;s encoding phase information (in phase, out of phase) and not motion.</description>
