Dan,

Well it's been a couple years since I ran into you here in Bismarck; to refresh your memory we were both rummaging through the state surplus store. It sure was nice to see you again.

Anyways, at that time we talked about your book scanner and how it was taking off as a DIY internet sensation for the common good. I can see it's really taken off in the last few years and I'm sure will continue in years to come. During that same meeting I was also introduced to your light field camera. I must say I was a bit overwhelmed by the theory and design when it was presented to me. Although looking and reading through some of your blogs, and blogs about you sure helped clear things up for me. I think it's a great idea and will definitely be a turning leaf for whats to come. I wish you the best and best of luck to you with your future endeavors.

PS. I will be checking in from time to time. Just another fan to add to your list ;)
